Like I said, winter in Michigan is not exactly a tropical garden. I do miss the bushes and flowers and trees all a-bloom.

I love the colours, the fragrance, and the variety.

With some paper, time, and creativity, however, I can have two out of three. (Squirt the paper with your favourite floral perfume and you can have it all!)

Listen. I know a paper flower isn’t the same as the real thing. But if you make a bunch and fill your life with colour, it won’t matter. The point is to add more colour to your world by any means necessary.

So if you can’t find anything growing in your neck of the woods this winter, grab some paper, find an online tutorial that interests you, and get snipping.
